Sony To Shut its SF Metreon PlayStation store

Sony is closing down its one-and-only U.S. PlayStation store at the Metreon mall in San Francisco. The recession is clearly to blame, but it’s happening at time when Microsoft — which opened and shut its own Microsoft store at the Metreon — is going to open a chain of its own stores.

Midway's bankrupt, owes $281,033,000 to 29 companies

GamePolitics has combed through federal court records for additional insights into Midway's recent bankruptcy. They have learned that Midway claims $167,523,000 in assets versus $281,033,000 in liabilities, owing $150M to Wells Fargo Bank alone. Other companies they owe include Epic Games, Warner Bros. and Best Buy.

Multiplayer preview of GTA4's The Lost and The Damned

Grand Theft Auto 4's new DLC The Lost and The Damned comes not just with an additional campaign, but a slew of new multiplayer features. Among the new modes include Witness Protection, Lone Wolf Biker, Own the City, Club Business, and Chopper vs Chopper, where a biker rides through the city as a helicopter pilot tries to shoot him down.
